While my grandparents* were still alive they would take us to eat Sunday lunch in the local hospital canteen, because it offered an unbeatably reasonable all-you-can-eat buffet with bacon bitzTM. We would dutifully devour congealing potato salad and icecream with six kinds of sprinkles, wedged among the morbidly obese and rotting geriatrics with oxygen tanks plugged into their nostrils. In the corner an elderly gentleman wearing a glitter bowtie and visor hammered out showtunes on a Hammond organ. Grandma would sneak naked chicken legs into her handbag for the cats. She died with Walter Kauffman’s “Critique of Religion and Philosophy” on her shelf, probably unread, which I rescued and haven’t read either.

I am interested in cameras performing spaces, and vocal performance - uncertain narrations, and intersections of memory, theory, geometry and model space.
I am interested in how power operates within geometry, and tone of voice, how we are watched and moved. What moves us.
